I'm now a blogger - note that astonishment in that statement. I've used computers for about forever, but I still consider it a magic gray box that sometimes does what I want it to do - not always, but sometimes. Now I've just got to get my camera hooked up and I can show off with all my toys.<br /><br />As history - I have been knitting for a very long time. I've won several prizes over the years, and would love to find an outlet for my work. For me, it's the process of creating things that holds my complete fascination. When I learned to spin about 4 years ago I was simply in heaven. I've gotten pretty good and love to spin very, very fine yarns. Silk and alpaca are my absolute favorites to work with. If I need a heavier yarn that lace weight, I tend to spin very fine and ply to the thickness that I need.
